Happy DeuceGiving!

Happy DeuceGiving!  We just wanted to say a few thanks... first, to the obvious thank-you targets--our families, our wives, our kids and kids to be, our friends and to God for the blessings we have.  Of course, a big thank you to the military men and women who give us the freedom to do the award winning podcast that we do.
Aside from those thanks, we wanted to have a little one-off show and give thanks to some immaterial, underrated things that don't get mentioned... like, the value of finding a sought after song on iTunes... watching an old friend dominate some Zelda... see the yellow line of football prowess.. and more!
Its a quick show, one recorded specifically for the Thanksgiving holiday!

Episode XXXIII: The Podcast Voyage Home

If you think three's a crowd... well... we still have three.  Matty has left us, at least for now, to pursue other ventures in the multi-media atmosphere, but that still leaves d$ and Mikey, and joining us this week, Hurricane Rhett.

Right off the bat, we dive straight into such diverse and controversial topics as... Fall FestivAle Beer fest... taking the dog to the groomer... take the car to the Firestone... taking the tornadoes to Auburn... and taking the Hurricane Rhett to the Taco Bell.

A spirited Taco Bell and/or customer service discussion ensues, as we also riff on Cracker Barrel... the renassaince of AMC... the NBA Lockout... via voicemail, Matt reviews "The Immortals"... the gall of Enos and Sonny Schroyer... and Rhett dives in deep to rant about horrible Birthday Music at random Asian places.

Ever notice how adding an off-center porn 'stache and a crappily applied
fake soul patch makes a great Evil Twin?
The Big Three opens up a great round-robin talk about theme music, past their prime actors and our topic, TV We Loved as a Kid But Just Don't Hold Up Now... shows like Airwolf... ALF... The Fall Guy... Superfriends and Al Bundy all get the Deucecast Treatment.

And lest we forget... Captain Kirk vs. Princess Leia.

And for the first time last time ever... The Situation Watch.

Catch up on The Deucecast next week as we take the holidays off and give you an Encore Presentation of one of our favorite past shows... and join us in TWO WEEKS when Dr. Earl comes back for another edition of Dying With Dr. Earl... we'll talk about Movies that Defined Our Childhoods... d$ will begin The Countdown.. and Mikey has more crappy awesome music!  That's on The Deucecast Ep XXXIV: The Undiscovered Podcast.

Episode XXXII: The Podcast for Spock

First it was Joe Pa that got the hook... and now?  Matty resigns from The Deucecast, at least as a regular co-host.  What did Matt know?  What didn't Matt know?  We may never know.

So, in the final show for Mattypoo, we kick it off by discussing everything from Shatner's Captain film... Mikey's concert update... "Once Upon a Time"... breaking into Matt's house... more Sons of Anarchy... a move to Missouri... and ear molds.  Not ear mold, but actual ear molds.

The Big Three fills us in on movie technology from older movies that were supposed to be futuristic, yet their version of futuristic technology never panned out... Why didn't Snake Plissken have a cell phone in "Escape from New York"?  Shouldn't memory planted in your head be bigger than like, 2 gigabytes, in "Johnny Mnemonic"?  Why aren't we wiping with seashells, like in "Demolition Man"?  These questions and more... plus a great "Total Recall" discussion.

Matt gives his final Smorg, on gaming, Mikey shows off his musical Scars and two great rounds of The Movie Game, with a great shout-out to veteran actor Christopher Plummer.

We wrap up with a huge tribute (and by "huge", I mean a lot more than any of us thought it would be) to the recently late Heavy D... some Demi Lovato love news... a review of "Yo Mama" on MTV... a welcome to "Beavis & Butthead" back to the airwaves...

And... the Final Seagal Watch.

But The Deucecast Rolls On, sans Matt... Hurricane Rhett joins us next week for a fresh Facebook rant, while we discuss "TV Shows We Loved as a Kid but Just Don't Hold Up Now" on The Big Three... that and more, on The Deucecast Ep XXXIII:  The Podcast Voyage Home

Episode XXXI: The Podcast of Khaaaaaan

Its a little late, but better late than never, especially when discussing the 31st episode of The Deucecast: The Podcast of Khaaaaaan...

We dive right in to our week in review, discussing Mikey's worshipful experience at a Bashta concert... and dressing as The Bearded Lady... Matt's new job happenings... and d$'s Disney World experience, including a spirited discussion on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter vs. Disney World... throughout the show, you'll hear topics such as Colin Quinn... "Once Upon a Time"... the crap that was M. Night Shamalamlamnana' "The Happening", or as its commonly known, "The Crappening"... I-I-I-I-I Want the Knife/Golden Child references... and Matt Jackson...

And d$'s problems not only with Madeleine Stowe, but also a question of eBay etiquette.

The very pretty Madeline.. Madeieline... Maha..
Madeileine... ah, crap, that chick from that
Mohican movie...
The Big Three gives us some great films that ruined it with the endings, movies like War of the Worlds... The Forgotten... The Departed... Matrix movies... and A.I.: Artificial Intelligence... plus many more.

Plus, a great discussion of our faith, our witness and being made in His image.

And Michael Bolton.

And Nic Cage.

And Steven Seagal.

The Matt Farewell Tour concludes on Matt's final regular show next week... The Big Three takes on Older Movies With Technology that Never Came to Fruition... d$ has a special musical Smorg... and we bust out a rousing edition of Faux or Shaux, one more for Mattypoo... that's all next week, on The Deucecast Ep XXXII: The Podcast for Spock
